TEDxSeattleWomen: Showing Up

This event has sold out

TEDxSeattleWomen is a once-a-year event combining live programming from compelling local speakers with lively video footage from the 2018 TEDWomen conference. Join us as we explore ideas worth spreading, under this year’s theme, “Showing up.” We’ll gather in a beautiful vineyard setting to learn from each other, laugh, cry, network, and grow.

Following the speakers’ talks, we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy appetizers and wine at the acclaimed Chateau St. Michelle in Woodinville. Minors may attend; IDs will be checked.

Live speakers this year include

  • Nikkita Oliver, an organizer, educator, teaching-artist, attorney and former Seattle Mayoral Candidate.
  • Xolie Morra, who speaks and sings around the world about her life with Asperger’s Syndrome. She’ll be joined by her band, The Strange Kind.
  • Dr. Fariba Alamdari, a diversity advocate and executive with the Boeing Company.
  • Chaitra Vedullapalli, a tech leader, entrepreneur and change-maker focused on reducing the digital divide and gender-gap issues in the tech industry.
  • Deborah Wang, an award-winning journalist, is our host for the evening.

Doors open at 1:15pm and the program will begin at 2:00pm. Afterwards, there will be an informal reception beginning around 6:15pm until we wind-down at 7:30pm.

Special thanks to our valued partners, without whom this event would be impossible:
