TEDxSeattleLive 2018

Details

On Saturday, April 14th, we came together and spent a day watching two unedited sessions from the TED Conference held that same week in Vancouver BC. The Riveter on Capitol Hill provided the roomy and comfortable open space to enjoy the TED2018 video feed, as well as connect and share conversation with others who care about the latest ideas worth spreading. Doors opened at 9am for coffee and conversation, then sessions ran from 10am until noon, and resumed at 1pm until 3pm. Snacks and a light lunch were provided.
We enjoyed…

Session 1: Doom. Gloom. Outrage. Uproar.

Jaron Lanier: Scientist, musician, visual artist, author.

Diane Wolk-Rogers: Florida public school teacher for the past 33 years.

Tracee Ellis Ross: Actress, performance artist, motivational speaker.

The Soul Rebels: Brass ensemble who blend their New Orleans brass tradition with funk, soul, hip-hop and jazz.

Zachary R. Wood: Crusader for dialogue.
