Paddle Seattle followed by Margaritas and Appetizers @ Aqua Verde Paddle Club

Please join us as we paddle through Lake Union and the heart of the city. You will hear stories of the rich local and natural history that has made Seattle and its waterways a special place. Paddle past the oldest houseboat in the city, the “Sleepless in Seattle houseboat,” gas works park and see where Boeing got its start on the shores of Lake Union. If you’re lucky, you may see sea planes take off, land or one of our bascule bridges open or close.

Following our paddle we will gather at the Café upstairs for margaritas and appetizers.

What is TEDxSeattle?

Seattle, and all the upper left-hand corner, are known for trailblazing ideas put into action. We welcome and champion those who want to challenge the status quo and drive change. TEDxSeattle is a platform that amplifies the ideas of those change makers; a forum to foster new perspectives, and a community committed to challenging its members to be better.
