Phyllis Fletcher is senior editor at APM Studios from American Public Media, where she provides editorial guidance to a suite of arts and culture podcasts. Phyllis was the Public Media Journalists Association’s inaugural Editor of the Year. She has served as president of the Seattle Association of Black Journalists and as a mentor with Northwest Journalists of Color. Phyllis holds a Master of Communication with a fellowship in demography from the University of Washington.
